☮GOSPELBEACH premieres “Another Summer Of Love” via YAHOO MUSIC

Brent Rademaker — who’s known for his work with Further, Beachwood Sparks and The Tyde –- is realizing his most detailed and mature work yet with his recent outfit, GospelbeacH. The band’s sophomore effort, Another Summer Of Love, is out June 16 and shows off a pure Southern California, retro and dreamy roots-rock vibe.

Yahoo Music is excited to offer fans a full stream of the album a day before its release. In the tradition of the Troubadour scene of the 1970s, Another Summer of Love features some of the GospelbeacH friends and Los Angeles’s finest players and singers including, Pearl Charles, Miranda Lee Richards, members of Wilco, Mapache, Eels, and pickers from the Grand Ole Echo. – CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE ALBUM

Great review of LEFT LANE CRUISER “Claw Machine Wizard” from PENNYBLACKMUSIC

Being so far from cities like Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland, artists in Fort Wayne and surrounding Allen County are accustomed to looking after their own scene and Cultural District. Left Lane Cruiser and their amazing blues hybrid were introduced to an international audience by the inclusion of their music on the television show ‘Breaking Bad’, in addition to widely touring for years. They sound like a mid-‘70s white blues band influenced by Southern rock and Motown and heavy on slide guitar. Freddy’s gruff, smoky voice sounds at various times like Terry Reid, Mojo Nixon, and a gritty young Paul Rodgers. – READ THE REVIEW HERE

☮Brent Rademaker (GOSPELBEACH) featured in the North Bay Bohemian

THAT ’70S SOUND Brent Rademaker, right, channels the 1970s in his new songs for GospelbeacH.
It’s going to be nearly impossible to miss Brent Rademaker at this year’s Huichica Music Festival in Sonoma.

The Los Angeles–based musician will be hitting the stage at least three times over the festival’s two days: with his country band Beachwood Sparks; alongside brother Darren in surf-psych project the Tyde; and leading his throwback folk-rock outfit GospelbeacH.

“I’m going to be like [David] Crosby at Monterey [Pop Festival],” Rademaker says. “Except that I’m not going to take acid.”

GospelbeacH is Rademaker’s main focus these days. The band’s sophomore album,

Another Summer of Love, is out June 16. – READ THE FEATURE HERE

9/10 review of GOSPELBEACH “Another Summer Of Love” from LOUDER THAN WAR

Whether you call it power pop, folk rock or alt-country (at times all of these terms apply) GospelbeacH are bursting with melody, with terrific harmonies to boot, including backing vocals contributions by Californian psychedelic country girl Miranda Lee Richards, who herself gave us one of the best albums of last year. We’re talking gorgeousness of Byrds and Big Star proportions, and that perfect balance of joy and melancholy. And yet at no point throughout Another Summer of Love do we detect even a whiff of pastiche or plagiarism. This is straight-up genius song writing: honest, brilliantly played and superbly produced. – READ THE REVIEW HERE
