Songs From the Land of Nod is a haunted record, but one of no mean achievement, oozing with edgy cut-throat energy and cool, sleazy grace. The kind of record rarely heard since the prime of The Ramones and The Cramps, it truly doesn’t put a foot wrong. – REVIEW HERE
BEECHWOOD “Songs From The Land Of Nod” reviewed by PLATTENTEST (DE)
Their sound, fully meets our expectations: Dusty, hard-working glam punk rock with psychedelic outbursts, coming right out decrepid New York cellar clubs. – REVIEW HERE
4 stars ★★★★ review of BEECHWOOD “Songs From The Land Of Nod” from i94 BAR (AU)
More shambolic psychedelia than the straight-up, guitar cut-and-thrust of The Bowery…glammy and trashy, as much of the best Manhattan rock always was. – i94 BAR REVIEW HERE

PASTE : The BONNEVILLES Announce New Album “Dirty Photographs”
While fans wait for Dirty Photographs’ release, they can preoccupy themselves with the album’s title track. As previously stated, the group carries on their signature sound with a hint of lo-fi 1960s rock, reminiscent of groups like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
With such a refreshing yet familiar sound, The Bonnevilles are sure to make a splash over here in the U.S., the way many Irish acts have before. – PASTE MAGAZINE
BEECHWOOD “Songs From The Land Of Nod” out today on LP/CD/DL!
MAGNET magazine exclusive : PREMIERE of The BONNEVILLES’ “Dirty Photographs”
“Dirty Photographs” is the follow-up to the Northern Ireland power duo’s 2016 LP, “Arrow Pierce My Heart”, and while it retains the garage/blues flair of past efforts, the 11-track album is more upbeat both musically and lyrically. The title track is actually a love song, albeit one that lives up to its adults-only title.

EARLY STREAM OF THE ALBUM!
Flows like an acid trip as it wanders through genres and moods, like a swirl popsicle that changes flavor with each new lick. But more than anything, it reveals a new sophistication to their sound as they explore instruments and arrangements as musicians while maintaining their gritty, haunting, swampy natural style. – WHAT YOUTH

A balanced combination of ingenuity and nonchalance. – REVIEW HERE

BEECHWOOD opening gig for DAVID JOHANSEN at ELSEWHERE NY
The first band was a local band called Beechwood, who I mistakenly passed off as a cross between Noel Fielding’s cheekbones and uber-cool mod haircut from the The Mighty Boosh and a hotter-than-thou glam rock band like The Sweet or Mott the Hoople, but they turned out to be so much more. Their sound is a classic, hot and sweaty, raw and nasty, rock and roll spirit, that commands the room with a real classic NYC sound, like a mix of Velvet Underground, Ramones, and aptly for the night, the New York Dolls, and their killer cover of The Kinks’ “I’m Not Like Everybody Else” nearly blew the lid of the place. – REVIEW HERE
